Jan 10, 2017 | Uncategorized

  • Do you live or work in Hounslow?
  • Can you turn your patient experience into patient expertise?
  • Can you be a critical friend of Hounslow Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)?

Hounslow CCG are looking to recruit a patient representative onto the CCG’s Heston’s Health Centre programme group within the next couple of weeks. The proposed new Heston Health Centre is a key delivery project for NHS England and NHS Hounslow CCG as joint commissioners. The new centre will provide a modern, fit for purpose home for services currently based in Heston, with scope to bring in additional services.
The proposal is to build the new health centre that will meet the needs of patients GP Practices, Providers, and Clinicians.
As a patient representative on this programme Group, you will be able to put both your patient experience of Hounslow health services and your ability to liaise with Hounslow communities to good use.
Hounslow CCG is committed to patient involvement at all levels of its operations. As a member of this programme group you will be contributing to ensuring that this happens. We have developed an operational plan and are working across the CCG and outside it to make sure the patient voice is heard. Your experiences will be vital in ensuring that, as we continue to commission and develop health services, those services are high quality.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for health care improvements, direct extensive experience of NHS care delivery either as a patient or carer. The role is voluntary but travel and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The time commitment is approximately 2 hours per month (excl. travel) for a twelve month period.
If you, or you know someone that may be interested in getting involved, please contact me in the first instance for further information.
To apply please send your CV and covering letter detailing why you meet the criteria in the role description to Dilo Lalande
