Opportunity: Outdoor Gym Activator

As part of the London Borough of Hounslow´s Outdoor Gym programme, Ad-lib training will be running Outdoor Gym Activator training for volunteers at Heston Village Hall on Sunday 24^th March 2019.
A one-day continuous professional development course which provides staff/volunteers with the skills and confidence to encourage other park and open space users to safely and effectively use outdoor gym equipment.   The course focuses on physical activity delivery and ideally staff/volunteers would work under the supervision of a qualified instructor to ensure the terms of the customer’s insurance are met.  Course content includes outdoor gym equipment inductions, warm up and stretching exercises.  Students will receive an Ad-Lib Training Certificate of Attendance.
If you are passionate about your local community and willing to spend your time promoting activity at your local outdoor gym this is for you. We welcome community groups and residents to attend.

Please note: Volunteer training spaces are limited and registration of interest does not guarantee space on the training course. After the training you will be required to do a set amount of hours at your local outdoor gym. We will contact you with further details if space becomes available.
