Mental Health Fund 2024/25
Published on: 8 December 2023
A special dedicated Mental Health Fund has been created in partnership with the West London NHS Trust and is available for Community and Voluntary Sector organisations to support the development of a community offer that will improve mental health and wellbeing for adults in Hounslow.
As part of the NHS Long Term Plan, working alongside primary care, the voluntary sector and other partner organisations, Mental Health Integrated Network Teams (MINT) would like to continue to develop a “new community-based offer that will include access to psychological therapies, improved physical healthcare, personal and trauma- informed care…and proactive work to address racial disparities.”
We are looking to fund projects with a focus on:
· Provide low level therapy or activities with therapeutic input for adult residents experiencing anxiety and depression and other mild/moderate to severe mental illness.
· Provide services to help improve the health and wellbeing of those with co-existing mental health and physical disabilities, learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
· Provide gender specific mental health support such as men’s mental health groups and trauma informed support for women.
· At least one above priority with a particular focus on marginalised/disadvantaged groups and people who find it challenging to access mental health services or people who have been in secure care.
We welcome applications from organisations working in partnership to deliver one or all the priorities.
