Home-Start Richmond, Kingston, and Hounslow (RKH) is looking for a hands-on strategic

marketing lead to drive a step change in our marketing and fundraising activity approach for 2021 and beyond.

Role Title: Marketing Lead – 21 hours per week

 Salary is £29,750-£31,484. Pro-rata 21 hours a week salary £17,850-£18,890.

(12 month fixed term contract initially)

 What we do: Home-Start RKH is a vibrant family charity that is essential to the wellbeing of our communities. We believe that strong families make strong communities.  To that end, we provide vital support to families during the important and challenging early years of raising a child. We work with any family that has a child up to the age of 5 years old. Our commitment is to promote the welfare of children by enabling parents to meet the needs of their children as they grow and develop.   The heart of our Home-Start family are our volunteers, who we train and supervise, and who bring their own parenting experience and passion to provide emotional and practical help for families at home, in community spaces and online.

You will be joining Home Start RKH at an extremely exciting time as we embrace the recent announcement of a new and powerful campaign between John Lewis Partnership and Home Start UK; a nationwide effort to work with John Lewis colleagues, customers and communities to reach more families and communities at this vital time.

You’ll live, breathe, eat and sleep creative, impactful, cross-channel marketing, with expertise in digital and data driven marketing strategies specifically. From always on communication to campaign moments, you will take the lead in driving how our charity talks to different audiences in the right place and time, to drive impact, acquire supporters and deliver against fundraising objectives.

What we are looking for: As with so many charities, Covid-19 has had a major impact on our charity. We have been through an all-round digital transformation, having had to change our in-home offering to online, and pivot our focus away from traditional face to face local fundraising events to social media-driven fundraising.

The primary objective of this role will be to optimise all our marketing activities, elevating our initial efforts and seeking out new ways in which we can connect with our target audiences, from local events to digital campaigns.
