Introductory one day course – HounslowÂ’s Early Help Offer and Practice Framework

This course was developed in line with HounslowÂ’s Early Help Partnership Commitment.
Course aims:
Participants will gain an understanding of the following: Identifying when to offer early help to families within the Hounslow Continuum of Need, and the relationship between early help and safeguarding the Hounslow Early Help Offer and how to support families to access this the Hounslow Early Help Practice Framework and participantsÂ’ roles and responsibilities within this Support offered by the Hounslow Early Help Hub to practitioners delivering early help Using information sharing and consent safely and effectively in an early help context Undertaking early help family assessments and plans to support structured interventions with families Acting as Lead Professional and using Team Around the Family to co-ordinate multi-agency support for families Using the Early Help Module (EHM) as a tool to share information and make referrals for families securely online
Who is the course for?
For all multi-agency frontline practitioners and managers who work directly with families at early help level (tier 2 of the Hounslow Continuum of Needs). This includes education Designated Safeguarding Leads and those supporting families in schools, Health Visitors and other health professionals including School Nurses, GPs, LBH teams, Youth Service, Safer Schools Police Officers and Social Workers. Facilitators: Members of the new Hounslow Early Help Hub launching September 2019.
