Background and aims
Healthwatch Hounslow is the independent watchdog for health and social care services in the borough. A key part of our role is gathering feedback on local health and social care services.
We are currently leading a project focused on Extra Care Housing in Hounslow, collecting interview responses and identifying common themes, trends, and views on extra care housing schemes across the borough.
To support this project, we are seeking individuals to help conduct one-to-one interviews with Hounslow residents living in extra care housing. These interviews will be carried out through in-person visits to extra care accommodation across four sites in Hounslow.
Your role will involve visiting two sites identified by the Healthwatch team, alongside Healthwatch staff, to gather interview responses.
What we need
– Gather at least 5 interviews from residents living in Extra Care Housing.
– Attend and gather interview responses from at least 2 Hounslow sites, as agreed with the Healthwatch team lead.
We will provide you with:
– A tablet device for gathering digital interview responses
– Training on how to conduct the interview and operate the tablet
– A confirmed schedule of visit dates and times, agreed with service providers.
– Payment of reasonable travel expenses.
Timeline
All interview submissions must be completed by mid-March, following the completion of visits.
Fee
We will pay contributors £100. The fee will be paid 50% on commencement of the work, and 50% on completion of at least 5 interview responses and visits to at least 2 outreach locations. We will additionally pay reasonable travel expenses.
