Hounslow Social Value Opportunities

EHCVS is pleased to be working closely with London Borough of HounslowÂ’s (LBH) Procurement and Contracts Team to support the delivery of social value commitments to the VCSE from LBH contract holders.

The Procurement and Contracts Team aims to ensure social value is included in the contracts awarded by LBH, so together with our partners it can help improve the lives of residents in local communities and keep the invested income within Hounslow.

Partners work with LBH to consider how services can be delivered differently in a way that positively impacts Hounslow and the environment; how we can support our community, disadvantaged individuals, minorities; how we can support local businesses and what is important to the local borough.

The procurement of supplies and services purchased by LBH must ensure delivery of social value requirements. There are a range of suppliers which have made social value commitments that are now available for VCSE organisations to take up.
