Hounslow Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy

Tackling inequality across the borough is a major priority for the Council. We want Hounslow to be a fairer, more inclusive place to live and work, a place where everyone feels heard, respected and welcome.

These ambitions are not something we can achieve alone. Traditional approaches are not enough – we need new insights and radical ideas. It is for this reason we are co-designing a strategy for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion – alongside you, our community leaders and our residents.

This short survey is designed to capture any thoughts you have on how we can make Hounslow a more equal borough with two simple questions. Should you wish to know more about the detail of our proposals, you can read our strategic intentions document.

The consultation is open from 18?July to the end of?30?September, 2022. Printed copies of the survey and our strategic intentions document are available in local libraries and Hounslow House. Meetings?with voluntary sector groups: The Equalities Team will be holding meetings with voluntary sector groups supporting residents in the borough with specific needs. Workshop: The Equalities Team are holding a workshop at Hounslow House on 11th August from 10am-1pm. All are welcome to join. To register for this event, email equalities@hounslow.gov.uk.

Summer Mini-fests: Come and share your views, face to face, and enjoy the music and have fun with the Engagement Team.
