Help Through Crisis Ealing

Help Through Crisis Ealing is set in Foodbanks across Ealing funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. It’s a partnership between Ealing and Hounslow CVS, West London Equality Centre, Ealing Foodbank, Ealing Law Centre & Ealing Mencap.

The project aims to identify and support those in food crisis, or those facing eviction or house re-possession. Clients will be identified at Foodbank sites across Ealing and at Brentford County Court and given immediate assistance as well as advice and support to achieve long-term behaviour changes.

To accomplish this, Crisis Navigators guide clients and motivate them to put in place their own solutions to help them remain independent and avoid future crisis. This is supplemented through one-to-one mentoring and coaching clients and using the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ framework as a personal action planning tool.

Advice is key in both phases, phase one (supporting clients out of crisis) and phase two (supporting clients into stability and sustainability) when ‘Crisis Navigators’ guide the client towards these goals.
