The TCF Small Grant offers funding of up to £1,000 for community and voluntary sector organisations, as well as informal groups such as residents’ associations, to deliver small-scale, locally focused projects that bring residents together and improve health and wellbeing.
For 2025/26, there is a £30,000 funding pot, which will be allocated across three grant review meetings during the year.
- For projects taking place up to the end of May 2026, applications must be submitted by Friday 30 January 2026 (12pm), with decisions expected in late February 2026.
- Please note: for large one-off events, groups can apply for up to £500, and for small one-off events, up to £250.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until Friday 30 January 2026 (12pm).
This grant is ideal for community events, small-scale improvements, pilot projects, and initiatives that strengthen local participation and social action.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted via the Council’s grants portal, accessible through the Council’s Community Grants & Funding webpage: https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/community-voluntary-sector-services/council-grants-funding-commissioning

2. TCF Capital Grant
The TCF Capital Grant is now open and supports capital projects that deliver long-lasting benefits for Hounslow communities through investment in physical improvements, infrastructure, and community assets.
For this funding round, applications are invited that align with the following priority areas:
- Upgrade and enhance community facilities – capital investment in the physical infrastructure of community spaces to ensure they are safe, accessible, and equipped to support a diverse range of local organisations and activities.
- Improve green spaces – funding for the enhancement and restoration of shared outdoor areas—including our parks—that promote health, wellbeing, and environmental sustainability.
- Support place-shaping and community ownership – investment in physical improvements to public spaces that foster a sense of identity and belonging, enabling residents to co-design and take pride in their local environment.
- Enhance community safety – installation or upgrade of physical safety infrastructure that supports safer movement and pedestrian-friendly design.
While applications are welcome from across the borough, we are particularly keen to support projects located in, or benefiting residents of, the borough’s 10 Equality Opportunity Clusters (areas experiencing the highest levels of inequality): https://stats.hounslow.gov.uk/eoa-cluster-census-2021-profiles/
The Capital Grant has a two-stage application process:
