Exhibition Launch: "Our Stories, Our Health"

NHS Hounslow Clinical Commissioning Group and Spark the Difference invites you to explore their exhibition: Our Stories, Our Health launch on 12 March 2018.
We know that there are members of Hounslow’s community who are less likely to approach local authorities and/or statutory services for advice and support for living and being well, particularly members of ‘emerging communities’, ‘hard to reach communities’ and ‘seldom heard groups’.
Hounslow Clinical Commissioning Group and Social Enterprise Spark the Difference have been working together to better understand the experiences and perspectives of people within HounslowÂ’s emerging communities.
We have gathered the views from Somali, Nepalese, Afghan, Polish and Romanian people and our exhibition highlights the challenges people face in looking after their health and accessing the right health services.
The exhibition Our Stories, Our Health reveals positive and inspiring insights into how communities are improving their wellbeing and are receiving helpful support.
We hope to generate awareness in the community and open up conversations amongst our Health and social care partners.  This provides an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the communities we serve and how we can empower people to lead healthier, happier lives.  More information about the Emerging Communities Programme and how to get involved can be found here
We are pleased to invite you to the exhibition launch event, after which it will be exhibited until Friday 23^rd March at Hounslow Civic Centre, Hounslow Centre for Health and Feltham Centre for Health.
