About the Forum:

The HSCF is a network of voluntary and community sector groups with an interest in health and social care. The network is open to any interested individuals or groups.

This meeting will have a presentation about the Hounslow Healthwatch Service Quarter 2 Patient Experience report.

This will be an opportunity for VCSE reps to consider the implications of the report on the sector which covers topics such as:

Access to services as a system wide issue (more people relying on the voluntary sector due to access barrier isses).
Importance of the voluntary sector in signposting services
Experience of people with long term conditions and disabilities
Inequalities by age, gender and ethnicity
Barriers for mental health services

There will also be a presentation on the Healthier Home Project which is an NHS-funded pilot initiative focused on reducing the health inequalities linked to damp and mould in the Private Rented Sector.
