About this event
This free session is aimed at anyone who is considering becoming a Trustee for a charity or community group, or new Trustees who would like to learn more about their role. This session will provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of a trustee of a small group or charity.
During this session, you will have the opportunity to understand the different ways a trustee can contribute to the organisation and the importance of the role in the charity’s governance.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who is new to being a trustee, thinking of becoming a trustee, or would like to update their knowledge of what trusteeship means.
Outcomes for Learners:
- An overview of the responsibilities of a trustee
- An opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to their organisation
- The importance of their role in the governance of the organisation
- An understanding of ways to develop a trustee board
- Find out ways in which you can become a trustee
