Potential employers are likely to ask about any gaps in your CV or job application.  Volunteering can be a great way to fill those gaps.  Being unemployed can also make individuals feel quite negative, but volunteering could help you feel useful and productive, thus improving your confidence and self-worth. It can help you learn and develop new skills or enable you to use your existing knowledge and experience – either way it will give your CV and self-esteem a boost. This free, 1 hour session is designed to answer your questions about becoming a volunteer. We will: Explore what a volunteer is

  • Understand the benefits of volunteering
  • Discuss personal expectations of, and motivations to, volunteer
  • Cover how to find a volunteering role
  • Cover volunteering during the pandemic

Please note once you have booked to attend the session, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom Link.
