Gunnersbury Park Museum is marking the LGBT+ History Month theme for 2021 of ‘Body, Mind and Spirit’ by celebrating the lives of local Hounslow LGBTQ+ icons, including Queer singer Freddie Mercury, author EM Forster and television presenter Clare Balding. Plus, a little closer to home, we dip into the story of our very own gender non-conforming resident Princess Amelia and the rainbow-filled bathhouse she commissioned.

Hosting the evening will be curator Amy Dobson and queer historian Dan Vo, joined by Hounslow Mayor Tony Louki and councillors Katherine Dunne and Richard Eason as well as friends from local cultural organisations.
