Ukrainian residents meet with Ealing mayor and councillors
The Ealing Ukrainian Refugee Infrastructure Support Network (delivered by EHCVS, funded by NAVCA and the Red Cross), supported Ealing Council to bring together Ukrainian residents displaced by the war to meet Ealing’s Mayor Mohinder Midha, alongside councillors Peter Mason and Aysha Raza. The group came together to discuss needs of Ukrainians living in Ealing, challenges Ukrainian residents face and possibilities for the future. The group will continue to work collaboratively with the Homes for Ukraine team in Ealing council, supported by EHCVS’s Ukrainian infrastructure network.
The network continues to run regularly online on Fridays for for statutory stakeholders, charities and community groups working to support Ukrainian refugees in Ealing to come together, share information, links and best practice. We are also running a monthly meeting in Ukrainian to bring together local Ukrainian residents to learn about services and activities available, how to access support, and connect with others in the area.
