COVID-19 Vaccine Community Champions Fund

Hounslow Council needs your help to reach unvaccinated residents in Hounslow, to provide them with the information they need to make an informed decision about the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Council has established a new Fund to help increase the uptake of Hounslow’s COVID-19 vaccination programme and to reduce health inequalities across the borough.

They are  inviting community and voluntary sector organisations and groups of residents to apply for funding of up to £1000 so that they can run local activities that would help to increase the uptake of the COVID-19 vaccines in their communities.

This could involve:

• Local events and activities that will bring people together to discuss the vaccine

• Training for local community champions or volunteers

• Working with the Council and the NHS to identify locations and communities that would benefit from vaccination pop-up clinics.

There will be a special information session on Wednesday 2 February 4pm – 5pm
