OPDC are open for new submissions for Small Grants: In the Making, through which we will be investing over £190k into grass-roots initiatives that uncover, showcase and celebrate what makes Old Oak and Park Royal special, as well as mobilise and support volunteering across the area.
Local groups can apply for up to £5000 to support their proposals, and the final deadline for submissions is Saturday 20 March 2021.
There are now two types of grant you can apply for:
- Arts and Heritage Grants:
Launched in January 2019, these grants are designed to support community arts, culture and heritage projects taking place in Old Oak and Park Royal, led by those living and working in the area.
- NEW – Community Volunteering Grants:
Through our recent work with GLA’s London Community Response team during Covid-19, we have identified a need among community organisations, resident associations and mutual aid groups for support and expertise in areas such as: applying for grant funding, volunteer training, governance, safeguarding, equipment and expenses such as fuel for food deliveries. We have now opened a new pot of funding specifically ringfenced for community organisations who require support to enable more local people to volunteer and share their skills with the wider community.
Please see our website for more information and to register your organisation on the application portal. If you have any queries on making a submission you can contact us via email – email@example.com
