The Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust will be opening their 2024 applications on the 31st January 2024 until the 15th March 2024.
The Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust’s charitable objectives:
We provide financial support in the form of grants to other registered charities
which promote the care, safety and upbringing of children by:
- Supporting and promoting the welfare of children in need and their families and carers.
- Focusing on early years by supporting families/carers with children under 5 years of age.
- Targeting the perinatal period of support for pregnant mothers and babies under 12 months in line with the history of Beacon Lodge House.
Eligibility
Charities applying for a grant from the Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust must
- Be registered as a charity with the Charity Commission or HMRC
- Have aims and objects consistent with BLÂ’s aims and objects and should relate to our key areas:Â Â the welfare and support of children and their parents.
- Operate within Greater London in one of the 32 London Boroughs
- Have a bank account in the name of their organisation.
- Have an annual income below £200,000
- Have appropriate safeguarding measures and policies in place.
Exclusions
- Applications from individuals
- Charities operating outside Greater London
- Charities with an annual income of £200,000 or above
- Purposes for which the government has a statutory responsibility to provide.
How to apply
- Complete an application form
- Provide any other information BL may request
- Agree to provide a progress report within 12 months of receiving payment from BL.
Charities will be able to make their applications online from the 31st January 2024.
