Some of the Services offered to the Vunerable
If a power outage arises:
- We go along to these customers and give out glow sticks so the elderly and vulnerable do not resort to lighting candles and warm foil blankets that they can use in the cold to keep their heat in.
- If the fault goes on for a few hours we can visit and offer hot water and meals.
- Those that are extremely vulnerable we may be able to generate the house.
Forms are available to sign up the vulnerable members of the community so should there be a power outage we know their situation and where they are so we can contact them as a priority.

We also have a YES referral scheme where people can sign up and potentially get help and advice on how to save money on their energy bills.
