Feltham based charity ‘Feed Them All’ distributes 2,500 meals a month FREE to people living in Hounslow.

They have set up a JustGiving appeal for the charity.

Hounslow Community Transport (HCT) is delighted to announce that it has re-started the following key services that it provides for residents of the London Borough of Hounslow and surrounding areas:

Minibus Hire Service

HCT operates a fleet of wheelchair accessible 16 passenger minibuses that can be hired at very reasonable rates by schools, colleges and voluntary groups/charities etc. HCT can also provide experienced drivers if required.

Hounslow Shopmobility

Hounslow Shopmobility is located in the underground car park at the Blenheim Centre in central Hounslow. A wide range of battery powered scooters and wheelchairs can be hired at very reasonable rates.

The Grant Award Process for The Mayor’s European Social Fund (ESF) Programme – Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) projects has now launched.

They are seeking providers to deliver the below projects;

• Hounslow (Creative Enterprise West) CEZ (one Grant of £500,000)

All projects will support out of work Londoners gain skills to find and sustain work, whilst addressing their individual needs. Hounslow will also support people employed in the creative industries to progress in work.

Round two funding for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community groups and organisations This fund is for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community groups and organisations, working to deliver COVID-19 services in England. This grants programme is designed to help tackle the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on BAME communities. The grants programme has three sections: Delivering COVID-19 services. Groups can apply for help with current costs, if their funding has been affected by the pandemic. Delivering mental health and well-being services, particularly to those who have been further impacted by COVID-19 Delivering sports activities to tackle BAME inequalities and help with the impact of COVID 19 including well-being initiatives This programme is open to all BAME led community groups and organisations, working primarily with BAME communities. In this context, BAME includes white minority communities other than white British e.g. Polish, Lithuanian etc., as well as communities that are Black, Asian, Chinese, African and Middle Eastern etc. Eligible groups must be not-for-profit, or with a clearly ethical main purpose. Grants available of £5,000 – £10,000 for running costs and small capital costs, and support for services such as foodbanks, domestic abuse and violence groups, tackling homelessness, and providing access to technology. The Healthy Recipe Box company will be launching in early Spring to make it easier for busy parents to feed their families delicious food by delivering them ingredients AND dinner inspiration. Initially they will deliver to Brentford, Isleworth, Kew and Ealing, but hopefully expanding to cover the rest of Hounslow by mid 2021.

They are a CIC and as such, will always have a social purpose and seek to positively impact local communities. They are sourcing as much as they can from local producers (largely non-commercial) so they can reinvest in local projects.

In addition to this, they will be allocating subsidised boxes to low-income families.
