ACDA are part of a new scheme called ‘The National Databank’ which may be of benefit to a number of organisations in Ealing & Hounslow who are supporting people experiencing ‘data poverty’ – barriers to accessing the data they need because of low income, not being able to get a data contract, lack of privacy or local infrastructure.
Through a new pilot initiative called the ‘National Databank’, we are able to provide a limited number of FREE data voucher codes and SIM cards on the O2 Network to anyone who genuinely needs them.
Each voucher code provides a 7GB allowance of data and unlimited calls and texts for 30 days from activation and can be loaded onto existing or new O2 top-up SIM cards which we can also provide.
ACDA Skills Training is working in partnership with Virgin Media O2 on this scheme to tackle data poverty by providing free mobile data to digitally excluded people and families in need.
