Acton Library has transformed into a wonderful community hub! You are invited!

Come and join us in celebrating our new and improved Acton Library, with an exciting line-up of performances and entertainment.

Acton Library has been transformed as part of the Community Hubs project to create fun and flexible spaces for all to enjoy, including upgrades to furniture, new art displays and improved wayfinding.

We are proud to have delivered this project with UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF) in collaboration with residents, trusted contractors, designers and local makers.

• 12.30pm – 1:30pm: Official launch ceremony
• 12:30pm – 1:30pm: Music, dance & exercise workshop with Japanese Music and Dance Hobby Group
• 2pm – 3pm: Poetry performance with Anthony Smith & Derwentwater Primary School
• 3:30pm – 5pm: Calligraphy workshop with Mr Yao Chak
• Throughout the day: Art exhibition and talks with Artification
• Throughout the day: Talks and presentations from ACDA Skills (who provide ESOL and ICT classes) & NHS West London
