Hounslow and Hillingdon Youth Local Network

From 2021 to 2022, the Hounslow and Hillingdon Youth Local Network was established to strengthen the organisations and projects working with young people across both boroughs. It supported youth organisations through funding advice, training, networking and one-to-one problem-solving, helping them become more sustainable and better able to respond to the needs of local young people.

Its importance was especially clear during and after the pandemic, when young people were facing increased pressures and local provision needed support to adapt and remain viable.

Impact:

• 280 youth groups supported in 2020/21.
• Continued with training, networking and sector development in 2021/22.
