This workshop provides Charity Trustees with an refresher on legal responsibilities, reinforces accountability, and promotes strategic align
Charity trustees are collectively responsible for governance, financial oversight, and ensuring the organization’s long-term sustainability. Research undertaken by the Claude Littner Business School at University of West London conducted together with local charities has identified several challenges: – Varied understanding of trustees’ legal responsibilities and Charity Commission expectations – Need for stronger financial oversight and sustainability planning – Desire to improve fundraising and grant application effectiveness. This structured workshop provides a focused opportunity to address these issues, reinforce accountability, and promote strategic alignment among trustees.
