Descendants

Descendants is an award-winning, West London-based Children’s charity established in Acton in 1993. Now marking 32 years of service, the organisation focuses on history and arts to enrich the lives of children aged 4-16, particularly those of African and Caribbean descent.

Committed to promoting positivity, self-pride, and well-being, Descendants encourages young people to celebrate their heritage and excel in their pursuits.

Each July, the charity hosts an awards event, supported by Ealing’s education department, to honour participants’ achievements. Descendants continues to inspire and empower the next generation through its impactful work.
