Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales- 2024 Specialist Programme
Published on: 5 January 2024
Our Specialist Programme supports small, local specialist charities that help people overcome complex issues that don’t have simple solutions, issues like homelessness, domestic abuse and addiction. These make life much harder for people; deepening trauma, impacting health and wellbeing, leading to poverty and destitution, and preventing people from being able to fulfil their potential.
Under this programme Lloyds Bank Foundation provides 3yr unrestricted grants of £75,000 (£25,000 pa) together with access to a wide range of tailored organisational development support. In 2024, we are expecting to give around 84 grants across the eight themes across England and Wales, with grants beginning in June 24
The programmeÂ’s 8 themes under which charities can apply, are:
- Addiction,
- Care Leavers,
- Domestic Abuse,
- Homelessness,
- Offending,
- Asylum Seekers & Refugees,
- Sexual Abuse & Exploitation,
- Trafficking & Modern Slavery
To apply, organisations must be:
- Registered Charities working within England and Wales
- Have an annual income between £25,000 and £500,000
- Be a specialist organisation ie the main purpose of the charity, as reflected in its objectives, must be to support people whose everyday lives are significantly affected by one of the eight themes we are funding in this programme
- Working with adults aged 18+
- Delivering frontline services which are in depth, person centred and where the charity understands peopleÂ’s individual needs and challenges and are able to monitor and support their progress
We are particularly interested in working with charities who can demonstrate strengths based and trauma informed practice, a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and who understand the development needs of their organisation and have an appetite to become stronger, more resilient and more fundable
