Voice4Change England Information Session 24th August 12-1pm
Published on: 22 August 2023
Voice4Change England will be holding an online information session on Thursday 24th August, 12 – 1 pm, via Zoom, where we will be launching our latest outreach and awareness projects aimed at developing and strengthening Black and Minoritised Ethnic (BME) communities.Â
We will provide a preview of our upcoming work across London, with information on how you can get involved. We would like to work collaboratively with you to ensure that we are reaching those who may benefit from our series of free online workshops, resource sharing, and informed discussions. Â
There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and provide feedback during the session which will help to shape our approach.Â
We will be introducing the following projects:Â
Catalyst: Building Resilience in BME OrganisationsÂ
A series of free resilience-building workshops delivered in person across London, designed to develop and strengthen BME communities, funded by the City Bridge Trust. Â
#YourVoteYourVoice – Voter ID CampaignÂ
Following a successful voter information campaign in early 2023, V4CE will continue to raise awareness of changes to voting practices amongst under-represented communities. Online capacity-building workshops will be aimed at local community leaders as well as staff and volunteers of community organisations, and in-person awareness workshops will take place across London for the beneficiaries of community organisations. This work is funded by the Greater London Authority.Â
Please complete our short survey to help us understand your needs.Â
