Health Inequalities – Spotlight on Sickle Cell -In person event in London, Thursday 3 February, 5pm – 7.30pm
Published on: 2 February 2022
There is still time to register for the Sickle Cell SocietyÂ’s Give Blood, Spread Love event which we are holding in partnership with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Join us tomorrow to discuss how the urgent need for black-heritage blood donors fits into the wider issue of health-related inequalities.
We will hear from people living with sickle cell, campaigners advocating for better sickle cell care, and clinicians supporting those with this condition. Our debate will be chaired by British-Nigerian writer Nels Abbey, the author of ‘Think Like a White Man.’
This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about sickle cell, share your views about health inequalities affecting black and mixed communities, and network with PwC and Sickle Cell Society representatives.
Register for this free event here. We look forward to seeing you.
