The Mulberry Centre – Supporting EalingÂ
Published on: 30 November 2021
The Mulberry Centre is a cancer information and support centre with a welcoming and non-clinical environment based within the grounds of West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth. Our aim is to deliver a range of information and support services free of charge, to anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer: whether the cancer patient, their main carer/supporter and those bereaved by cancer. Although most our clients come from the London Boroughs of Hounslow, Richmond and Ealing, owing to our extensive telephone and online support, we are open to all people affected by a diagnosis of cancer, regardless of postcode or hospital of diagnosis.
We are committed to providing individual, tailor-made support to all our clients, enabling people to seek emotional and practical support in the way that works best for them. We continually review our workshops and services to make sure they fit the needs of our users.
Services include complementary and relaxation therapies, ongoing one to one support on a drop-in basis, counselling sessions and support groups, plus a wide range of workshops. The combination of information, support, self-management and relaxation helps people feel in control; it helps them to make the right decisions to manage both the physical and mental trauma of a cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
