We are back with a bang….and a lot of Freebies!!!!Our Footprints: Festival of the Environment is kicking off on the 27th of September and WOW-EE do we have some treats for you! To start off with all of the activities in our festival are ‘Pay what you Decide’ which means you can book all the activities for FREE! We only ask that if you enjoyed the activity you donate some money, whatever you are able to afford! |

We are giving away free tote bags, Bee Friendly Seeds & Artwork Prints to all visitors of our Footprints: Festival of the Environment, alongside a plethora of pat what you decide activities and event. To collect your bee friendly, wildflower seeds simply bring a used envelope or something similar to the Arts Centre and we will give you some seeds to brighten up your garden, windowsill or balcony and help the local Bee population flourish. In addition, so you can recognise the types of bees visiting, we will give you an art print that tells you which species they are! Seeds are available for opening hours of the festival from the 27th of September to the 10th of October, while stocks last! |

Thea Saves her ParentsThe Arts Centre, Hounslow in Association with Two Foot Tall present Thea Saves Her Parents. It’s Breakfast, and Thea notices something is wrong, something is very very wrong, and it’s HER PARENTS! They don’t have time to care properly for the environment. But Thea knows how to help. Join her as she goes on her final adventure and saves her parents from destroying the world. Thea Saves Her Parents is the final part of the The Saves The World series and follows three videos put together for the Footprints Festival Of The Environment funded by the Heathrow Community Trust and delivered by The Arts Centre, Hounslow. This gorgeous ‘Pay what you DecideÂ’ show is suitable for primary school age and is packed with adventure, excitement and a little hero who is determined not to give up on her world! Show dates and times: There are also a series of free workshops for children called Guardians of The Planet which will be run by our in house Education team. We have lots of exciting activities for adults throughout our festival from Photography Competitions to Silent Disco litter picks with different music themes! We would love to see you there! |
Our ‘When humans and wildlife collide’ Photography Competition is opening Monday 20th September! £250 up for grabs!!As part of our Footprints Festival, we are running an amateur environmental photography competition with big prizes! There are 2 prizes for each category; BRIEF- Humans are pushing into animalsÂ’ homes, but nature is as rebellious as ever, share your photograph highlighting the impact of humans on the environment. CATEGORIES – There are 2 categories for this competition. An under 18s and and 18+ category. Both categories have a winner and a runner up with the same prizes being awarded in each. ABOUT – Our judging panel will be scoring the submissions, developing the exhibition shortlist and selecting a winner and runner up for each of the competition categories. Applicants whose images are selected for the exhibition shortlist will be contacted and invited to a ceremony on the 7th October at the arts centre where the winners and runners up will be announced. Due to the volume of submissions, we will only be contacting those who have progressed to the exhibition shortlist stage. |
