The engagement day is being hosted by a partnership of agencies and specialist service providers to bring the community together, understand the issues women and girls are facing and raise awareness of the support available in Ealing.
It is free to drop in and will be a safe space open to all women and girls. The engagement day will include:
· Childcare and arts/crafts activities for children (including a competition with prizes)
· Free supplies (essential items such as period pads and food)
· Refreshments (hot drinks and snacks)
This event is part of a wider partnership approach to addressing male violence against women and girls (MVAWG) in Ealing. You can find out more about the ongoing efforts and the councilÂ’s MVAWG strategy by visiting www.saferealing.gov.uk
As part of an ongoing conversation, the Safer Ealing Partnership encourages women to take part in a survey, which will help determine the next steps required to make the borough safer for women and girls. The survey will remain open until Sunday 24 December 2023.
